Tenure a person can be in the position within the company1 - 2 years Experience required if being hired from outsideMinimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience Reporting Manager Roles a person can play typically in any positionIndividual Contributor / Project leads / Team Leads Job Rotation can be possible at which stage and in which areas to move ahead to the next position Cross functional movement - job rotation opportunity for one year -presales or work in different vertical Job Scope and responsibilityTrainee / Junior System Administrator Technical & Managing work Technical & Managing work comprises of content generation, review, direction, strategy, project management, timelines and presales support 1. Required to work as a team member under the supervision of senior personnel. 2. Performs day-to-day monitoring of system activities, analysis of system utilization and resources, capacity control, performance tuning, coordination of system upgrades or fixes, adding/deleting users from the system, and generates reports as required. 3. Has experience in System Administration discipline(s) and technologies described in an actual task order proposal. 4. Desktop/Laptop Support 5. Resolving Horizontal Application problems i.e. Office, Outlook, IE and etc. 6. Support for Remote Access (VPN, Remote Desktop, wireless) 7. Patches and Updates support for OS & AV. 8. O/S version / Service Pack’s upgrade. 9. Software and Firmware upgrade. 10. Basic network connectivity troubleshooting 11. Resolving Compatibility issues 12. Isolate Problems to local / backend / Troubleshoot and fix problems 13. Escalate & get issue closure within SLA (if required to follow) up with internal teams to quicker closure. 14. Ensure support to users on the status of their requests from registration till closure 15. DLP application / agent installation and reconfiguration / redeployment. 16. Monitors call queue and Incident details in ticketing tool (ITHELPDESK). 17. Timely updates on incident & service request information in ticketing tool (ITHELPDESK). 18. Clear description of problem and resolution steps so to be able to comprehend and use as a solution for others if similar issues occur. 19. Create SOP’s based on desktop, laptop, software or any fixes or shortcuts within role scope only. 20. Provide Incident resolution or workaround for issues within the desktop engineer scope (software, hardware, OS..etc). 21. Detect potential problems and intimate the concern leads or managers both business & IT. 22. Escalate incidents to L2 support if unable to resolve the incident. 23. Ensure systems are built as per SOE and adhere to Indegene approved P&P. 24. Raise tickets with hardware vendors based on warranty availability of the problematic product. 25. Raise calls with ISP’s if there are any issues with the connectivity based on identification by self or alerts or leads. 26. Ensure appropriate asset tagging and asset mapping is done. 27. Ensure temperature is monitored during shift operations timings and notify the leads if any deviations found. 28. Should be able to configure & troubleshoot basic IP & Digital phones. 29. Validate physical damages of assets appropriately before and after providing or taking back an asset provided to an employee. 30. Set reminders on the ticketing tool to ensure appropriate closure of deviations provided. 31. Communicate effectively via. The ticketing tool or emails. 32. Ensure appropriate approvals are present before executing requests.
