Description
Position Summary:
Basic experience in an PO Ops role. Responsible for transactional processing for an operations unit.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for transactional PO Ops transactions coursed through P2P
Role may be involved in special projects to support management and site deliverables that would benefit the center in general.
Biz Operations
Ensures that production is performed and executed within Service Level Agreement (SLA)to maintain customer satisfaction Reviews queue of purchase requisitions received on a daily basis from Citi employees
Performs system-based processing to ensures purchase orders are issued in accordance with Citi s Procurement policy buying requirements
Facilitates the creation of purchase orders, entering correct financial/accounting and management information
Performs modification, cancelation and/or closure of purchase orders as appropriate when purchases are complete therefore deferring processing until the appropriate level of compliance or regularization is obtained
Ensures timely and accurate processing of Transactional Procurement requests to maintain customer satisfaction, within agreed Service Levels
Decides on rejection of invoices for non-adherence to policies and adequate documentation, therefore deferring processing until the appropriate level of approval or proper documentation is obtained
Performs testing for system enhancements or resolutions to ensure that updates/changes will not disrupt the production process once implemented
Risk and Control Ensures that agreed control processes and procedures are implemented to identify and mitigate risks in his/her area of responsibility
Participates int the COB planning and implementation for the unit for an effective back-up system w/in the group
Others
Performs testing for system enhancements or resolutions to ensure that updates/changes will not disrupt the production process once implemented
Participates in customer calls as needed
Interactions :
Regularly coordinates with other Team Members, Team Leads and Seniors, both internal and external, for production updates, service feedback and issues resolution
Qualifications
Job Requirements / Qualitications :
4 Years College
Minimum Experience
Less than 2 years Preferred Experience
Education
College degree holder
Knowledge
Experience working in cross-cultural global teams
Commercial experience relating to buying transactions or knowledge in procurement practices
Project-related experience desirable
Proficient in the use of office applications (MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint)
Skills
Excellent Japanese and Korea written & verbal communication skills
Knowledge in foreign languages is an advantage (English, etc.)
Effective time management, documentation and organizational skills
Good problem-solving skills; is able to grasp complex issues and provide solutions
Strong interpersonal skills; strong stakeholder management skill
Able to rapidly learn technical and business techniques and knowledge
