The development of the next generation of software defined storage and search systems by our Unstructured Data Storage Division, which focuses on scalable storage and computation, is what continues to position Dell EMC at the peak of the emerging hybrid cloud market. Our software solutions are targeted at the world’s largest information technology environments within global enterprises and popular service providers to enable seamless information technology as a primary service. We need someone to help build our hybrid cloud solution with cutting-edge technology and forward-thinking design.

If you are passionate about building large scale distributed systems and working in ambitious, highly-visible product groups, then this position is perfect for you. We are looking for talented software development engineers with proficiency in Java, indexing systems, streaming systems and robust experience in building distributed systems, to design and develop this new product. In addition to the above, you should:

- Demonstrated experience and leadership in delivery high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software - Cares about quality of code, practices and standards

- Partners with local and remote teams to ensure code quality throughout the SDLC

- Can drive high-quality, on-time deliverables in an Agile/Lean environment

- Keeps up with the latest advances in searching system

- Demonstrated experience on building distributed system

- Excellent at problem solving

Requirements:

？ MS degree in Computer Science.

？ Proficiency in high-level languages such as Java, Scala, and Python.

？ Strong understanding and experience building distributed system or searching system.

？ Professional experience on tools/processes: git, gradle

Additional Experience & Skills:

？ (Plus) Experience with Lucene

？ (Plus) Experience with Solr/ElasticSearch

？ (Plus) Experience with Apache Zookeeper and Bookkeeper

？ (Plus) Experience with Kafka, Spark, Flink

？ (Plus) Experience with K8S

？ (Plus) Experience in working on Agile and JIRA tool
