1. Avamar Software Engineer Intern

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Avamar team builds the software systems & Cloud Solutionthat coordinate and execute data backups across a variety of enterpriseapplications and platforms.

This position is to research and develop the POC of dataprotection solution & service as well as the automation framework &test cases. We want to talk to candidates interested in the position ofSoftware Engineer (Intern for the Avamar organization of Dell-EMC.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Design, implement and/or test the POC as therequirements with edge technologies.

-Frequently contribute to the full development cycle with new methods/techniques/ideas.

SKILLS

· Experience or skills of Programming language, at least one from C/C /Java/Python/Ruby/Perl/Shell/JavaScript, etc.

· Knowledge of software development and testing. Agile is a plus.

· Solid knowledge of computer science, including network/virtualization/web/Storage,etc.

· Familiar with Linux OS, and popular Open Source Software.

· Experience or understanding of Cloud or Container (like AWS, Azure, Openstackor Docker is a plus.

· Faster leaner and good team player.

· Good communication.

· Undergraduate in Computer Science or Software Engineering or above




2. Software Engineer Intern (Platform

GENERAL SUMMARY

Dell EMC PSE IVE group provides innovative,scalable and industry leading software solutions to manage, validate andemulate Dell EMC storage, server products and systems in modern data center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

? Design, implement and/or test Diagnosis Product feature/functions.

? Develop elegant solutions to complex problems.

SKILLS REQUIREMENT

? BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent. ? Experience or skills of Programming language, at least one from C/C /Python/Perl/Shell/ JavaScript, etc. ? Basic knowledge of Intel X86 Architecture. ? Have knowledge of Storage Hardware concepts or protocols, for instance: PCIe, NVMe, SAS, InfiniBand, SSD etc. ? Qualified English language skill in both written and spoken. ? Familiarity with some Agile methodologies: SCRUM, DevOPs, etc. ? Quick learner with strong problem solving ability. ? Good team-work spirit.

Responsibilities

· Follow anexisting test plan to test DELLEMC products under the guidance.

Able to develop automation module to complete the test job byfollowing DevOps practices and utilizing Ansible, Jenkins, Python, Shell andother scripting language.

· Configureand maintain the test bed under the guidance.

· Generateor update project doc (test plan, test report, configuration guide if needed.

· Performsother duties as required.

Master or Bachelormajor in computer science, electric engineering or related fields.
