XBO Capital is a mid-market M&A boutique headquartered in Shanghai and specialized in Europe-China cross-border deals.

XBO was founded in 2016 with the mission to bridge opportunities between Europe and China, with a special focus on helping large international companies realize successful investments and acquisitions in China.

XBO offers a full-fledged service to its clients ranging from origination of opportunities, approach and qualifications of targets, valuation, negotiation, process running up to the closing.

XBO promotes a strong entrepreneur s spirit and an at cause attitude, overcoming boundaries to offer the best results to our clients, mixing the right balance of rigor, systematic methodology and pragmatism.

To fulfill its development, XBO is currently adding to its core team and is looking for experienced interns (with prior successful experience in transaction services, strategy consulting or investment banking) with the opportunity to convert to full time M&A analyst.

About the role:

The successful candidates will integrate the team, assist the Managing Director and take part to:

1.The execution of active mandates (buy- and sell-side) with strong exposure to clients:
preparation of information memoranda and management presentations, financial analysis, modeling and valuation works, dataroom management, etc.

2.Marketing initiatives: preparation of market, strategic and competitive analysis, as well
as industry screening for the identification of potential targets/buyers, financial valuations, etc.

Requirements:

Graduates from top-tier universities in China and / or abroad

Successful experience(s) in investment banking / strategy consulting / transaction
services at reputable firms

Commitment, rigorous, detail-oriented attitude and ability to show initiative and find
solutions

Professional maturity and experience in order to interact directly with client

Ability to manage several projects at once and work equally effectively as an individual and as part of a team

Highest standards of personal conduct, professional performance, and business ethics

Fluency in both Chinese and English is mandatory

Start date and duration: ASAP (duration: 6 months)
Location: Jing an, Shanghai
