Post Specification

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assisting course instructor to carry out teaching in the area of Programming, Computer Science, Statistics or other Science disciplines;

2. Preparation of teaching materials/classes;

3. Conducting tutorial classes；

4. Grading assignments, project reports and test/exam papers;

5. Coordinating academic activities for students;

6. Undertaking other assignment assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. A Master degree, preferably a higher degree in Computer Science/Statisitics or other related areas, earned overseas or with English as the major teaching language；

2. Excellent in Linear Algebra, Calculus and Statistics, proficient in Matlab and python；

3. Good teaching and communication skills,；

4. Fluency in both written and spoken English;

5. Good physical and mental health;

6. Spirit of team work, as well as ability of working independently when required;

7. Be willing to take up other responsibilities as instructed by the supervisor(s).

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
