JOB SCOPE / RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Analyst, you will be placed into either of the roles below. Team placement will be determined based on a mutual fit, taking into consideration your interest and skill set.

Application Support specialist: be responsible for fixing application and system problems or any incident that is disrupting the application service that business users depend on.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for monitoring and responding to user submitted tickets

Troubleshoot and escalate alerts that cannot be resolved to appropriate section

Prioritize and handle service requests and incidents

Progress issues and provide relevant information for troubleshooting or for clarification

Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to departmental initiatives

Assist in improving and documenting the technical processes

Work collaboratively with BU and IT system owners on change requests, managing issues and establishing priorities

Perform daily health checks of the applications, scripts, and infrastructure

Assist in installing, configuring, and administering application servers

Java Developer: be part of the next-gen application development workforce, a passionate software
development team (including 3rd party partners) that works on building high-performing, scalable,
enterprise-grade applications.
Responsibilities:

Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle

Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, as well as recommending

Changes to improve the established processes

Write well designed, testable, efficient code

Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications

Prepare and produce releases of software components

Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Assist in identifying production and non-production application issues

REQUIREMENTS:

Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information

Technology, Software Engineering

Some computer program skill in HTML5/CSS3, Java, Python, SQL database

Experience on some open source products, like Spring framework, Tomcat, Linux

Good academic record

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Good English skill (Speaking, Writing, and Reading)

Nice to have: Cloud experience, Mobile development experience, analytic skill, UI development experience
