Procurement Intern
Responsibility:
1. Work with global commodity teams, manage the sourcing activities to drive cost reduction;
i. Conduct and execute strategic sourcing based on BU's needs (e.g. saving/migration/new project/ development projects) in order to achieve saving and global LCC (Low Cost Country) and LCL (Low Cost Localization) spend goals.
ii. Conduct and coordinate new supplier assessments in terms of capability, competitiveness, quality, service and financial stability (if applicable) in order to improve the KPI of productivity and LCC/LCL).
iii. Work with engineering team on potential saving opportunity identification.
iv. Negotiate sourcing contractual terms and conditions with suppliers in order to obtain the most beneficial conditions for TE.
v. Monitor and drive continuous improvement on existing supplier performance (saving, quality, delivery, etc) and compliance (RoHS, REACH, EHS, Social Responsibility, etc) in order to optimize the total cost of ownership.
vi. Support NPD for material localization during project development stage.
2. Support specific cross-functional team’s requests in supplier related issues such as shipment/response expedition, supplier solvency survey, price negotiation, quality issue coordination, audit / survey needs, etc.

Requirements
1. Bachelor degree
2. Mechanical/Electronics/English/Management/International Trade is preferred.
3. High level of integrity and ethics
4. Ability to coordinate with global teams;
5. High pressure work.
6. Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills;
7. Well-developed communication & negotiation skills, including written/spoken Mandarin & English;
8. Good working knowledge of MS office software especially PowerPoint and Excel.
