Responsibilities
o Execute and maintain MRP to ensure material availability; monitor the material pipeline and address supply issues promptly.
o Issue and manage Purchase Orders in line with agreed pricing and terms, and maintain effective communication with suppliers.
o Manage master data and purchasing parameters to balance cost, inventory, and material liability while enforcing negotiated supplier terms.
o Monitor and improve supplier performance in delivery, quality, and service; implement corrective actions as needed.
o Collaborate with Buyers, Commodity Managers, and SCM to support sourcing and pricing strategies.
o Minimize freight expenses and support AP in resolving invoice discrepancies.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
Condensed Knowledge Requirements
o Ability to analyze data and solve problems.
o Effective communication and presentation skills.
o Proficient in Windows and related software; advanced PC skills preferred.
o Good in written and spoken English.
