We build secure, high-performance, domain-specific AI models that empower contractors, developers, and engineers to optimize operations, enhance safety, and drive data-backed decision-making on complex mega-projects.

We are looking for an ambitious, highly technical Researcher specializing in Private AI and domain-specific models to spearhead the architecture, fine-tuning, quantization, and secure local deployment of AI systems tailored exclusively for the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

* Advanced Model Engineering & Fine-Tuning: Design, pre-train, and fine-tune open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) and multi-modal models using complex construction datasets, architectural blueprints, BIM data, and engineering standards.

* Model Quantization & Optimization: Implement model compression, quantization (e.g., GGUF/AWQ/GPTQ), and efficient inference pipelines to run high-performance models locally or on edge hardware with minimal latency.

* Private & Secure AI Architecture: Engineer robust, privacy-first AI pipelines ensuring zero data leakage, strict data confidentiality, and secure on-premise or air-gapped enterprise integration.

* RAG & Advanced Knowledge Retrieval: Build sophisticated Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, semantic caching, and vector database architectures (e.g., Milvus, Qdrant) for precise technical document parsing.

* Cross-Functional Communication & Leadership: Act as a critical technical bridge, translating complex AI research concepts into clear, actionable requirements for software engineers, and effectively communicating progress, technical trade-offs, and insights to non-technical project managers and civil engineers.

Requirements & Qualifications

* Education: Master’s Degree (MSc) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a closely related quantitative discipline.

* Technical Depth:

* Advanced proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Hugging Face ecosystem, vLLM, DeepSpeed).

* Hands-on experience with PEFT techniques (LoRA/QLoRA), model quantization, and deploying open-source models (e.g., Llama, Mistral, Qwen).

* Solid understanding of vector search infrastructures and embedding model evaluation.

* Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to articulate complex technical architectures clearly, lead technical discussions, and collaborate seamlessly across multidisciplinary teams.

* Security & Infrastructure Mindset: Strong grasp of data privacy protocols, secure local/private cloud AI deployment, and enterprise infrastructure security.

* Domain Awareness: Background or keen interest in construction technology, proptech, heavy civil engineering, or enterprise knowledge management systems.
