LafargeHolcim in China
LafargeHolcim is operating in China via both its local joint venture Huaxin Cement, in which the Group holds a shareholding of 41.8 percent, and LafargeHolcim Sichuan, with a total of around 150 sites in 10 provinces. The company has around 18,000 people across its cement, ready-mix concrete, aggregates, waste treatment, equipment manufacturing and engineering and other businesses.
In China, LafargeHolcim has a cement capacity of around 100 million tonnes per year while capacities for ready-mix concrete is around 23 million m3 and for aggregates is around 22 million tonnes. In addition, Huaxin is able to treat up to 5.5 million tonnes of waste per year.
