DHL is consisting of three independent subsidiary companies, which are respectively focusing on three major playgrounds of the logistics service, namely global forwarding, express and supply chain.
DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) was the inventor of the forwarding business around 200 years ago, and over the years, has now widely been reckoned as one of the top players in the industry of international transportation, worldwide or China. To fulfill your one-stop logistics demands, DGF has been dedicated to develop and perfect the full spectrum services in China, not only the traditional international airfreight, international ocean freight, domestic air and road freight, international supply chain, project & chartering, but also value added services including multi-modal, trade fair event logistics, international trade consultancy, cargo insurance, carbon footprint/neutralization report, import and export of the special goods (i.e. wine & spirit, food) and the dangerous goods transportation, etc.
Since DHL Danzas Air & Ocean stepped into China logistics industry early in 1991, and was certified as the first foreign logistics company to operate China domestics airfreight shipment in1998, DHL has obtained successful track record of operations and partnership in China with strong local market know-how. With the business integration of mainland China and Hong Kong, DHL Global Forwarding China has expanded its presence in 69 locations in China to cover almost all tier-1 and tier-2 cities,with over 396,189 sqm of warehouses and cross docking space and approx. 4,000 employees in China.
