Post Specification

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To assist the college in managing student hostels, organizing student activities, guiding student organizations.

2. To handle student enquires and provide suggestions or solutions, manage a robust filing system and record information as needed, keep track of changes in college function rooms statistics.

3. To handle student-related matters in dormitory management such as complaints or emergencies, be responsible for the maintenance of college facilities.

4. To draft written documents such as reports, papers, emails, meeting minutes in Chinese and English, manage college publications, provide clerical support to daily office operations in college and provide administrative service among departments/units in university.

5. Undertake other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. A bachelor s degree or above, with relevant secretarial, administrative or student affairs working experience.

2. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

3. Ability to work independently, taking initiative and full responsibility for completion of tasks assigned, a passion in promoting well-being and whole-person development of students.

4. Good organization skills and interpersonal skills.

5. Experience in exploring and leading student activities or organizations would be a plus.

6. A good working knowledges in graphic, multimedia, purchase, or asset management would be a plus.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
