Introduction:

Our Business Analytics and Insights Team supports data-driven decision-making in our e-commerce operations. As a Data Analytics Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about and contribute to analytics projects, gaining experience in e-commerce data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Join our team in Shenzhen as an intern and support our Data Analytics Associates in their daily tasks. As an intern, you will:

1. Assist in data collection, preprocessing, and analysis using Excel and Python for daily e-commerce operations.
2. Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports for multiple e-commerce platforms.
3. Help conduct market research and competitive analysis.
4. Assist in the development and testing of statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
5. Support data preparation and cleaning for advanced analytics projects.
6. Contribute to the documentation of data processes and analysis methodologies.
7. Collaborate with team members on various analytics projects and tasks.
8. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
1. Education:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science with a focus on data analytics, Economics with a strong quantitative focus, or Business Analytics.

2. Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Python basics.
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques.

3. Language Skills:
- Strong English reading and communication skills, with a minimum requirement of CET 6.

4. Soft Skills:
- Keen interest in e-commerce, data analytics, and business intelligence.
- Zeal for learning and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- High level of motivation and firm commitment to professional ethics.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Independent and innovative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with Python libraries for data manipulation (e.g., pandas, NumPy).
2. Interest in learning basic machine learning concepts using Python.

Compensation and Perks:

1. Mode: A full-time internship, 5 working days per week, excluding national statutory holidays.
2. Duration: Minimum 3 months, with the possibility of extension to 6 months based on performance.
3. Insurance: Full medical and accidental insurance coverage from day one.
4. Compensation: Daily stipend of RMB 220, calculated based on actual working days.
5. Variable Pay: Additional variable pay may be awarded at management's discretion for excellent performance.
