Engineering Intern will work with Life Cycle Services Business Unit to work in Industrial Automation Projects with the systems like Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS) & Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems.

The successful candidate will receive Soft Skills, Technical Training through eLearning, Virtual & Classroom trainings, and then the Interns will be assigned to projects, where he/she will work under the direction of an experienced Project/Service Lead or Senior Engineer.

Engineering Intern will be involved in various stages of a projects, starting from its design, specification, programming, simulation, and testing, of automation systems.

Period:
Minimum duration of the internship program will be 3 months

What Intern will Learn & Do:
61 Intern gains knowledge about Industry overview, various functions and business units of Rockwell Automation
61 Opportunity to interact with senior leadership in the organization
61 Intern receives training on Soft skills & Interpersonal Skills
61 Intern receives Technical training on PLC & HMI
61 Intern will be involved in active projects, in one or more of the following functions.
o Control Panel Design
o Preparing Bill of Material (BOM)
o Verifying Electrical Drawings
o PLC Logic Programming
o HMI Screen Development and Programming
o Communication between devices (EtherNet)
o System documentation and Manual development
o Simulation of Programs
61 Project Readout and presentation

Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education (SKEE) Expectations
61 Pursuing a full time Bachelor Engineering Degree (preferably Final Year Student) in any of the following functions like Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication.
61 Good knowledge and understanding of core subjects with basic knowledge of Digital Electronics and Programming Languages
61 Excellent in interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
61 Analytical thinking & information seeking nature
61 Collaborate with teams & Adaptive to changes in technologies.
