Shanghai branch is the main branch of ING in China, and it has trading business by Financial Markets. There are a wide range of Financial Markets products controlled/supported by FIFM risk including rates, credits, FX, and derivatives, etc.
The internship would cover:

- Understanding the business of the desk and how the risk framework is designed to control the activities
- Daily P&L and Risk reporting and analysis
- Working on ad hoc ongoing projects related to risk management
- Assisting the team lead in specific risk analysis as and when required
There would be exposure to policies and procedures governing this desk, which in turn are based on a number of items including regulations, bank’s risk management philosophy, current economic climate etc.


Skills & Specifications:
- Major in Finance/Accounting and Quantitative Finance streams. Major in field related to Science and engineering also preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese
- Should have sufficient knowledge of MS Excel
- VBA / coding knowledge is a plus
- Good time management and adaptability
- Ability to work from home during the period where this is required of the department
