1.About BiUH

Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (BiUH) is an innovative, high-performance and international university of applied sciences in Danzhou, Hainan, China. It is the first independent university in China to operate outside of China and the first independent higher education institution of a German public university to operate in Mainland of China. 2.Job Location

At the beginning, the campus is temporarily in Hainan Lingshui Li’an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone, China.

The final campus will be in Yangpu Economic Development Zone, Danzhou, Hainan, China.

3.Job Title

Cashier of Finance Department

4.Job Responsibilities

1) Process various payments and receipts, including cash, checks, credit cards, and debit cards.

2) Reconcile daily bank and cash accounts to ensure accuracy.

3) Review financial documents and prepare accounting vouchers.

4) Provide courteous and professional service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

5) Respond to inquiries about fees, payment methods, and financial policies.

6) Address and resolve payment-related queries and issues.

7) Accurately record cash and bank transactions.

8) Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports as required.

9) Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and financial regulations.

10) Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.

11) Support the finance team in completing special projects and other assigned tasks.

12) Adhere to university policies and procedures regarding cash management and security.

13) Safeguard sensitive financial information and maintain strict confidentiality.

5.Job Requirements

1) Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2) At least 2 years of cashier-related experience; experience in an educational institution is preferred.

3) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4) Proficiency in financial software and government-related systems.

5) Familiarity with banking regulations and settlement processes.

6) Fluency in Mandarin; familiarity with Hainan local dialects or basic English is a plus but not required.

7) Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently manage tasks.

8) Willingness and capability to learn continuously and adapt to changes in business needs.

9) Fluent in spoken and written English

10) Fluent German is an extra bonus
