The duties and responsibilities of an Art Teacher shall include the following but not limited to:
1. Assist the Head of Art programs for conceiving, developing, and implementing the educational program
2. Design a comprehensive and diverse Visual Arts program (painting, drawing, sculpture, crafts etc.), for a large audience (children, students, adults)
3. Scheduling and distributing of the art classes to self and other staff (when applicable) students and parents
4. Plan, prepare and deliver lessons according to guideline of AIO
5. Tailor and apply pedagogy that may attend to different learnings of the students
6. Evaluate and provide feedback on students’ performance
7. Work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. parents) to ensure meeting the learning needs of the students
8. Working with outreach manager and marketing department to liaise with stakeholders
9. Communicating to teaching staff, instructors, students and parents, where appropriate, program of activities and special
10. Participate in meetings, parents’ teacher meetings and any other training events
11. Maintain relevant spaces and materials for students' learning needs i.e. Art Work Room, art and craft materials and supplies, -order equipment/material.
12. Participate in AIO’s events
13. Any other duties assigned by AIO


Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in art or related courses
2. Post-graduate Diploma in Education or an equivalent will be an advantage
3. At least two years of full-time teaching experience, international teaching experience is preferred
4. Bilingual: English and Chinese
5. Strong sense of initiative and spirit

*Flexible working hours (could be after school hours and/or weekends)
