Overview
Calix cloud and software platforms enable communications service providers (CSPs) of all sizes to transform their business. Our CSP customers are empowered to utilize real-time data and insights from Calix platforms to simplify their businesses and deliver experiences that excite their subscribers. This enables CSPs to grow their businesses through increased subscriber acquisition, loyalty and revenue, thereby increasing the value of their businesses and contributions to their communities.
Calix Solutions Test Team is seeking for interns based in Nanjing, China. The individual will work as part of our Solutions Test team to support feature and solutions-level test on Cloud products such as Calix Operation Cloud (COC), Calix Engagement Cloud (CEC). This is an exciting opportunity for any aspiring engineer, programmer to come into a high growth, fast paced environment and get real hands-on experience.
Internship Duration
61The internship can start immediately upon successful interview
61Work 3-5 days per week
61The internship period is 6 months or longer
Responsibilities
61Work closely with senior engineers to create manual test cases and execute manual test cases for Calix Cloud products or XGS/NG ONT solutions
61Work closely with senior engineers to write scripts for performance test
61Locate issues, submit, and track tickets
Qualifications
61Graduate in 2026 or 2027, Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related
61Available for 3-5 days per week, lasting for 6 months or longer
61Strong desire to software test and new technologies
61Good understanding of software functional and non-functional verification
61Experience of script languages, such as Python, or Go
61Strong analytical skills
61Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
61Self-motivated, persistent, and a team player with innovative ideas Fast learner with little mentoring
61Experience of working on open-source software is a plus
61Experience of public Cloud products or telecommunication protocols is a plus, such as AWS, Docker, K8s, Router, Switch, Gateway, PON, etc.
61Good knowledge of Linux or Shell is a plus67
Allowance
61200-280 RMB per day, adjusted based on the internship stage and performance.
