About Us

Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL), with its prime focus on global science and new technology frontiers, is committed to solving major scientific problems collaboratively. Focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer, infectious diseases, neurological and psychiatric disorders, chronic diseases, and other major diseases, SZBL features BT IT integration and multidisciplinary collaborations to develop programs in bioinformatics, chemical biology, innovative drug development, biomedical engineering, and other biomedical fields. Position：Post-Doctoral Fellows

Job Description

1.Conduct scientific research under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI) of the research group, complete project-related tasks, and publish high-quality academic papers. Postdoctoral fellows are welcome to join the group with their own research projects for collaboration.

2.Assist in applying for national-level grants and provincial/municipal-level projects, or serve as the group leader in applying for postdoctoral science funds.

3.Support and guide graduate students and research assistants in the group or laboratory.

4.Fulfill other tasks assigned by the PI as required.

Qualifications

1.Applicants must demonstrate academic integrity and moral principles with no adverse records.

2.Hold a PhD degree (or soon-to-graduate PhD candidate) from a renowned domestic university or international university, with expertise in one of the following disciplines: Biological Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science & Electronics, Materials Science & Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or Other STEM/medical/engineering disciplines.

3.Be under 35 years of age, in excellent physical and mental health, with outstanding academic performance.

4.Possess strong research capabilities, including documented achievements in relevant fields. Priority will be given to candidates with interdisciplinary backgrounds or significant research accomplishments.

5.The laboratory does not employ postdoctoral fellows who are currently working elsewhere.

6. Grant Assistance: SZBL supports for postdoctoral applications, including: Guangdong Provincial Overseas Postdoctoral Talent Support Program,China Postdoctoral Science Fund,etc,.

7. Post-Station Treatment: Post-Doctoral Fellows who remain in Shenzhen (or join Shenzhen-based institutions,like SZBL) for full-time work within 6 months of completing their postdoctoral tenure and sign a labor contract of 3 years with an employer will receive the subsidy of 360,000 RMB.

在招博士后岗位

【岗位职责】

1.在课题组组长指导下开展科研工作，完成课题相关的科研任务，撰写发表高水平论文，同时欢迎博士后自带课题加入课题组开展合作；

2.协助申请国家自然科学基金及省、市各级项目或作为负责人申请博士后科学基金；

3.协助指导课题组或实验室的研究生和研究助理的科研工作；

4.完成课题组长交待的其他工作。

【岗位要求】

1.申请人具有良好的政治素质和道德修养，遵纪守法，无不良记录；

2.获得在国内外知名大学获得博士学位和学历且不超过3年，或即将取得博士学位的博士研究生，具有以下相关专业背景之一：生物学类、医学类、药学类、化学类、物理学类、数学类、计算机与电子信息类、材料科学与工程、生物医学工程等理学、医学、工学专业；

3.品学兼优，身心健康，年龄不超过35周岁；

4.具有较强的研究能力，已在相应方向上取得一定的学术成就，具备跨学科、复合型专业背景或已取得显著科研成果者予以优先考虑。

5.实验室不招收在职博士后。

6.科研项目：实验室全力协助博士后申请各类博士后项目，包括广东省海外博士后人才支持项目、中国博士后科学基金项目等。
