Your Responsibilities:
? Independent analysis of system requirements and development of wiring harness architectures for complex electric battery systems
? Creation of detailed circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and 2D/3D harness drawings using common CAD tools
? Selection of suitable connectors, cables, protective elements, and fastening components, taking into account electrical, mechanical, and thermal requirements
? Coordination with system architects, mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of wiring harnesses into the overall system
? Execution of tolerance analyses, bend radius checks, and installation studies to ensure manufacturability and durability
? Support in prototype assembly, commissioning, and electrical testing of wiring harnesses in close collaboration with testing and manufacturing teams
? Maintenance and management of bills of materials, manufacturing documentation, and change records in the PLM system
? Support for series production, analysis of field feedback, and implementation of design changes to improve quality
? Contribution to the development of design guidelines, standard components, and automation tools to increase efficiency in the development process
? Technical consulting for internal departments (e.g. purchasing, manufacturing, quality assurance) on topics related to electrical interconnection systems

Your Profile:
? Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
? At least 3 years of professional experience in wiring harness design, ideally in the automotive or BMS environment
? Solid knowledge in electrical system development and experience with relevant tools (e.g., VeSys, Siemens NX)
? Experience with PLM and ALM systems (e.g., TeamCenter, Polarion) is a plus
? Proficient in MS Office
? Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken
? Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with strong team spirit
