一、任职要求

方向一：碳数据与人类活动

1.有遥感、地理信息系统、大气、生态、环境、计算机等相关专业博士学位；

2.熟悉多源卫星遥感数据的处理，能够完成重采样等常规预处理工作；

3.具备一定的计算机编程能力，能熟练使用Python等语言处理空间数据；

4.具有机器学习项目经验者优先；

方向二：微生物与天体生态

1.有微生物学、生态学、合成生物学、环境科学、生物工程等相关专业博士学位

2.具备扎实的微生物学与分子生物学实验基础，熟练掌握微生物的分离纯化、功能菌筛选、基因编辑或多组学测序文库构建等常规操作；

3.具备良好的生物信息学分析能力，能熟练使用R、Python等语言处理高通量测序数据（如扩增子、宏基因组、宏转录组等）并进行可视化分析；

4.对天体生态系统、微生物合成生物技术等前沿交叉方向有浓厚兴趣；

二、通用要求

具有良好的英文科技论文写作与学术交流能力。对学术研究有浓厚兴趣，具备独立思考能力，工作踏实，具有较强的团队协作能力，良好的书面表达能力和沟通能力。

三、工作内容

数据分析与论文撰写、在导师指导下开展其他学术研究活动

Postdoctoral Recruitment | Carbon Monitor Team

The Carbon Monitor team is seeking highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellows to join our group. We are currently recruiting for two key research tracks: Geospatial Data Analysis and Astromicrobiology.

Qualifications & Requirements

Track 1: Carbon Data & Human Activity

1.
Ph.D. in Remote Sensing, GIS, Atmospheric Science, Ecology, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related fields.

2.
Familiarity with the processing of multi-source satellite remote sensing data; capable of performing routine pre-processing tasks such as resampling and data harmonization.

3.
Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python (or similar languages) for spatial data processing.

4.
Experience with machine learning projects is highly preferred.

Track 2: Microbiology & Astroecology

1.
Ph.D. in Microbiology, Ecology, Synthetic Biology, Environmental Science, Bioengineering, or related fields.

2.
Solid foundation in microbiology and molecular biology experiments. Proficient in routine techniques including microbial isolation and purification, screening of functional strains, gene editing, and the construction of multi-omics sequencing libraries.

3.
Strong bioinformatics analysis skills; proficient in using R or Python for the processing and visualization of high-throughput sequencing data (e.g., amplicons, metagenomics, metatranscriptomics).

4.
A strong interest in frontier interdisciplinary areas such as astro-ecosystems (astroecology) and microbial synthetic biology technology.

General Requirements

1.
Strong proficiency in academic writing and technical communication in English.

2. A strong passion for academic research, critical thinking skills, and a diligent work ethic.

3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities：Conduct data analysis and manuscript preparation. Collaboration: Participate in other academic research activities under the guidance of the supervisor.

Benefits & Opportunities：Selected candidates will have the opportunity for research visits or internships at Tsinghua University or with the Carbon Monitor international collaboration network at prestigious universities in North America and Europe (specific arrangements subject to discussion with overseas supervisors).
