Important responsibilities in this role will include:
The Japanese/Korean Sourcing Research Intern is responsible for performing primary research (60%) and secondary research (40%) in the field of Purchasing and Supply Management across various industries in Greater China and Japan or Korea, such as advanced industries, agriculture, automotive, chemical, electronics, industrial, manufacturing, mining, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, and oil & gas. Work in a typical day would involve:
1. Understanding prospect of procuring goods and services from certain region of interests
2. Collecting insights about the market condition from supplier interviews and desk research
3. Identifying top suppliers in certain categories and their capabilities
4. Soliciting price quotations for goods or services
5. Performing cost modeling and analysis
任职要求:
Skills we're looking for:
1. Students with valid student ID Card
2. Exposure to market research / consulting / general professional services industry is preferred
3. Extrovert, confident personality. Comfortable with primary research, with exceptional telephoning and emailing etiquette
4. Solid communication and coordination skills in both English and Chinese; proficiency in Japanese (N1 and above) or Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK 6). Able to write findings professionally and concisely in the relevant languages
5. Strong analytical skills with a focus on business issues; good commercial sense
6. Ability to learn and deliver in a fast-paced work environment, having a sense of urgency.
7. Extremely high attention to details; putting highest priority on accuracy and quality
8. Self-driven; high sense of responsibility
9. Knowledge of MS Office tools
