Position Overview:

We are looking for a collaborative and creative China Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This role offers the opportunity to integrate language skills with video production. You will work alongside our professionals to ensure that complex business insights are localized and communicated effectively to the right audience.
In this role, you will leverage various digital tools—including translation and video editing tools—to streamline workflows and produce high-quality content. We value individuals who are proactive in exploring new technologies to enhance the impact of our digital media presence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
? Support content editing for platforms: WeChat Public Account, WeChat Video Channel, and Red Note (Xiaohongshu).
? Translation and adaptation of marketing materials and business articles from English to Chinese to support our China outbound campaigns.
? Creation of short videos for mainstream digital platforms by repurposing existing business content.
? Draft scripts and captions for video content, ensuring that the tone remains professional and aligned with the brand.
? Utilize and explore digital tools to improve efficiency and quality of content delivery.
? Assisting with other marketing activities in China.

Qualifications and Skills:
? Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Translation, International Business, Communications, or a related field.
? Candidates must maintain their student status during their internship.
? Strong written and spoken command of both Mandarin Chinese and English.
? Experience with video editing tools, or with a genuine interest in video creation and digital storytelling. You should feel comfortable learning and applying new tools independently.
? Ability to maintain accuracy when working with technical business and legal terminology.
? Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within an international team environment.

Additional Requirement: Applicants must pass a short translation test as part of the selection process.

*Applicants must meet the requirements to work as an intern pursuant to China's labor law. Candidates should define preferred starting date (available period of internship) and current Chinese visa status.
