Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
This role is contributing to the EL smart power business in Xiamen, China.
You will be mainly accountable for:
● Customer order management: Receive customer orders, review and check order type, material, price block, special header remark, shipping point, drop shipment and its shipping mode. Offer AB to customer according to master schedule plan.
● Customer request support: Deal with customer inquiry regarding scheduling, delivery time, logistics arrangement and order change etc. Recommend appropriate solution for customer request and co-work with internal functions to enable request handling.
● Customer relation management: Maintain positive customer experience, proactively inform customer about issues and clarify questions.
● Delivery management: Coordinate with order planner, prepare the delivery schedule ahead of time, and keep customer informed. Create DN and pass to WH and CT or forwarder.
● Export business support: Coordinate customer request as export contact window. Confirm with customer for the forwarder and corresponding shipping mode. Prepare customs related documents，tracing the transportation and keep customer informed for the shipping details（Invoice, Packing list etc）.
● Customer order OTD monitoring: Manage and monitor customer order on time delivery, monthly analyze the root cause of N-OTD and push related functions for improvement.
● Product management support：coordinate with customers on product technology, certification, declaration, and bidding data collection; Publish product change notices, provide pricing support, process free sample requests.
● Others: optimization project or task assigned by line manager
Qualifications for the role
● Bachelor and above degree, engineering education background is preferred.
● Familiar with factory operation process, know the normal order handling and production planning methods and KPI.
● Familiar with export procedure.
● Good data analysis and statistics ability, can find and analyze the issue, identify potential risk and find solution.
● At least 3-5 years order handling or production planning experience in foreign company, better if ever used lean sigma or other equivalent theory to lead or participate the optimization task
● Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing level, has some financial knowledge.
● Good MS operation and ERP knowledge, be skilled in SAP is preferred
● Open minded and active in communication, accountable and can bear stress.
● Team work, are willing to change and can accept change
