Position Summary
The Digital Automation Intern supports digital transformation, automation, and system enablement initiatives across laboratory systems, reporting, and engineering tools. This role focuses on automation solutions, dashboards, documentation, and usability improvements, helping engineering and lab teams improve efficiency, data visibility, and system adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement automation solutions for recurring reports, dashboards, or system output publishing.
Support laboratory digital systems and internal engineering tools, including usability and interface optimization assistance.
Create and enhance dashboard components and data visualizations (e.g. charts, radar plots, reporting views).
Assist engineers and system owners in test automation or digital workflow initiatives.
Support data preparation, validation documentation, and operation/manual documentation.
Prepare technical summaries, user guides, slides, and brief reports for internal stakeholders.
Assist in selected digital engineering or automation-related projects, depending on team needs.
Qualifications
Background in Engineering, Information Systems, Data, Automation, or related fields.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
Good English written and verbal communication skills.
Basic awareness of user interface design and usability optimization.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate with engineers and system users.
Nice to Have
Experience or interest in Tableau, Power BI, dashboard tools, or data visualization.
Exposure to automation scripting, digital tools, or AI-assisted applications.
Familiarity with laboratory, engineering, or technical systems.
Working Arrangement
Minimum 3 days per week, flexible based on project requirements.
