Purpose of Job / Job Summary:
Testing is a key procedure and department in SKF Automotive product development and technology research. This position is to fulfill R&D testing activities according to business need and technology development requirements and deliver qualified results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out customer bearing tests, including
Implement test activities in close contact with requestor
Create specifications
Design tooling according to product drawings
Treat and analyse recorded data,
Failure analysis
Fatigue life analysis
Testing uncertainty analysis
Write test report
2. Develop new testing solutions, including
Lead new rig project as mechanical technical lead.
Lead Non-standard testing solutions including upgrade existing rig functions, application simulations
Support AE/PDE to do on-site testing.
3. Support Testing operation activities
4. Support Testing automatic system and digitalization system building
5. Support on Quality system management
6. Lab 5S management and optimization.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical, Material or related engineering background
2. More than 3 years’ experience, in mechanical testing, bearing testing is plus
3. Reliable Testing Knowledge such as Weibull Distribution, 0 failure testing design, MSA
4. Professional skills in mechanical drawings and conception are mandatory
5. Ability to use drawing software such as Pro/E, CAD
6. Experience in bearings, machine design field and hydraulic and pneumatic control field is plus
7. Competence in NVH is plus
8. International engineering project experience is plus
9. Fluent English and Chinese
10. Well organized, rigorous, enterprising and with good communication skills
