Main goals and objectives:



Are you ready to shape the Volkswagen China future by taking responsibility within its Thermomanagement projects? Are you willing to fight for the technologically and economically optimal product? Would you love to work cross-functionally in the area of Thermomanagement technology, together with development, procurement and production teams?

A position in our team of Volkswagen Value Engineering division offers you an excellent perspective for this.

Your main Responsibilities:

Cost analysis of components, materials and manufacturing processes, including on-site validation at suppliers worldwide
Support negotiations and identification of cost and technical potentials in the nomination process
Cost optimization in concept development and preparation for top management and board level technology decisions
Benchmarking and active participation in product optimization workshops
Contribution to the design-to-cost processes with the development and the main suppliers
Our Requirements:

Knowledge of development and / or manufacturing of mechatronic or electrochemical or electronic products
Knowledge of thermomanagement design and/or its components


Necessary education:

Master university degree in electrical engineering, chemistry, process engineering (process technology) or mechanical engineering (manufacturing technology, construction), in-depth training



Personal skills:

Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex issues at the interface of technology and business aspects
Pragmatism and solution orientation
Team spirit and enthusiasm for electromobility
Assertiveness and ability to work under pressure in a volatile environment


Working experience (in years):

Min. of 5 years working experience in one of the area of thermomanagement


Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

Chinese native
Business English spoken and written

Volkswagen (Anhui) Co., Ltd. (formerly JAC Volkswagen Co., Ltd.) was established in 2017 as a joint venture between Volkswagen Group and Anhui JAC, and is Volkswagen Group's *** joint venture in China focusing on new energy vehicles. In December 2020, Volkswagen Group increased its shareholding in JAC Volkswagen to 75% and took over the management of the company, and the joint venture was renamed Volkswagen (Anhui) Co., Ltd.
