We are excited to announce that applications are now open for our Stryker Advanced Operations (AO) Global Engineering Development Program (AOGEDP) in Suzhou, China.

About the Program
Advanced Operations (AO) is Stryker’s global function specializing in New Product Introductions (NPI) across all divisions. The AOGEDP is a 20-month structured development program designed to build your technical, professional, and leadership capabilities through:

Rotational assignments across engineering functions
Exposure to cutting-edge technologies including additive manufacturing, robotics, and advanced automation
Collaboration with global teams in Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Operations
You’ll be part of a high-performing, innovative team that supports the successful launch of new products and technologies across Stryker’s nine divisions.

Key Responsibilities During Rotations
Contribute to cross-functional project teams
Collaborate with design teams to develop innovative product concepts
Investigate, design, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies
Support process handover from development to production
Work closely with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams
Provide process validation support internally and with external vendors
Hands-on machine programming and prototyping
Apply Design for Manufacturing principles
Develop and qualify new test equipment and methods
Participate in technical and professional development training

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical, Digital, BIS, or Project Management disciplines
Graduation between June 2024 and September 2026
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Excellent English communication skills
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and product design
