Administrative Intern for External Relations


Position Overview:

Duke Kunshan University (DKU) seeks to recruit an intern to support administrative work at External Relations office. The Administrative Intern for External Relations will support a variety of administrative and coordination work focusing on providing logistic help in delivering Chinese Society and Culture courses, collecting data and materials for meetings/submitting reports at university level for external compliance purposes, receiving incoming visitors. etc. for External Relations office.


Reports to:

Associate Director of External Relations


Essential Duties:

l Assist with conducting research and collecting background materials related to external compliance at University level.

l Assist with preparing reports/materials for internal and external meetings at differing levels.

l Providing support with data or materials collection for external compliance purpose for Chinese Society and Culture courses.

l Providing logistic help internally across depts., in particular to WHU faculty coming to teach Chinese Society and Culture courses.

l Providing logistic assistance to Chinese students’ military training in collaboration with Chinese Student Services office at DKU.

l Assist with receiving incoming visiting groups for External Relations office.

l Help with routine office business, such as printing, filing, day-to-day office communication, etc.

l Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

l Currently registered graduate student is preferred.

l Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.

l Strong communication, relationship building and internet search skills are essential.

l Outstanding verbal and written skills in both Chinese and English are preferred.

l Must have good skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

l Ability to work within a team environment, and attention to details. 公司简要介绍：
