OVERVIEW:
As a CMF Designer Intern, you will support the Color, Material & Finish (CMF) development team and managers across current product development programs, ensuring aesthetics and CMF finishes align with both current and next-generation products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Engineering, Marketing, and Creative teams—to deliver high-quality design solutions on time and in line with project requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
CMF Concept & Development
61 Assist in managing CMF development for new product lines across both Shark and Ninja brands.
61 Create, track, and maintain color and CMF specifications (ID SPECS) throughout the development process.
61 Support Industrial Design teams by developing CMF proposals and visualizing concepts through high-quality renderings.
61 Partner with CMF Developers on-site to inspect CMF quality on development builds, documenting findings and outcomes.
61 Collect, organize, and maintain CMF samples within the CMF Lab and material library.
61 Support related design work, including UI elements, iconography, and product labeling as needed.

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS: .
61 Currently enrolled in at least the third year of a Bachelor’s program or in a Master’s program in CMF, Industrial Design or a related design field.
61 Fluency in English and Mandarin for effective collaboration with global teams and local suppliers.
61 Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
61 Creative eye for color harmony, material expression, and finish aesthetics.
61 Attention to detail, with an obsession for precision craftsmanship, color application, surface quality and appeal.
61 Skilled in presentation tools (Adobe Suite, KeyShot, CMF decks, prototypes).
61 General knowledge of materials and processes such as coatings, plastics, metals, glass and textile.
61 Familiarity but not a must with CMF standards and tools such as Pantone, NCS, SPI, YickSang, Mold-Tech, etc.
61 A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating creative design, color and material projects. 公司简要介绍：
