Position Overview:

Duke Kunshan University library is seeking applications for a Game Studio Intern to support the planning, management, and daily operation of the Game Studio, an interdisciplinary space dedicated to game-based teaching, learning, and research. This is an ideal intern position for students interested in the intersection of game design, media arts, and technology. The intern will play a key role in enhancing user experience, coordinating studio activities, supporting faculty and student projects, and maintaining studio resources. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with DKU faculty and students across different divisions and contribute meaningfully to the growth of game-based pedagogy on campus.

Reports to:
Systems Librarian

Essential Duties:
· Serve as the *** point of contact for faculty and students using the Game Studio.
· Manage studio reservations, coordinate schedules, and ensure smooth usage of facilities and equipment.
· Maintain and organize studio space, including digital and tabletop gaming areas.
· Support course-related projects and teaching activities that utilize the Game Studio.
· Assist in setting up and resetting studio configurations for different teaching and project needs.
· Help manage game-related assets: board games, digital accounts, VR/AR equipment, and signage.
· Provide basic technical guidance or usage tips for students unfamiliar with game platforms (e.g., Steam, Xbox).
· Collaborate with other student workers, library/IT staff, and faculty to enhance the studio’s
educational impact.
· Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor, including software and hardware maintenance and upgrading.

Required Qualifications:
· Good organizational skills, responsibility, and attention to detail.
· Strong interest in games, technology and education.
· Comfortable coordinating logistics, space scheduling, and user support.
· Good communication skills in English; ability to work with faculty and students from diverse backgrounds.
· Experience with either digital games (e.g., Steam/Unreal/Tabletop Simulator) or board games preferred.
· Basic familiarity with programing language(s). 公司简要介绍：
