Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented FM/MRO Procurement Intern to support the procurement team in managing Facility management and MRO purchasing activities. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement operations, supplier management, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

● Support daily FM/MRO purchasing activities
● Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect purchasing requirements and ensure timely fulfillment of business needs.
● Communicate with suppliers regarding quotations, lead times, delivery schedules, and documentation.
● Assist in supplier onboarding, qualification, and vendor master data maintenance.
● Track open orders and follow up on delivery status to ensure on-time supply.
● Support procurement data analysis and prepare reports on spending, savings, supplier performance, and purchasing activities.
● Help maintain procurement records, contracts, and related documentation in compliance with company policies.
● Assist in sourcing activities, RFQ processes, and market research for MRO categories.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain, to support procurement projects.
● Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and process compliance.
Qualifications

● Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
● Procurement, Data analysis, Engineering, or related fields.
● Available for internship for at least 3-6 months, preferably 4-5 days per week.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Good communication and interpersonal skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.
● Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
● Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications

● Interest in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
● Familiarity with purchasing processes and supplier management concepts.
● Basic understanding of FM/MRO categories such as industrial consumables, tools, PPE, facility supplies, and maintenance-related materials.
● Good command of written and spoken English.
