POSITION SUMMARY：
The PHE Thermal Test & Validation Engineer is responsible for assembling and operating laboratory testing systems, conducting thermal performance and product validation testing, analyzing test results, and supporting new product development activities.
The role works closely with global R&D teams to support product development, performance improvement, certification testing, and laboratory operational excellence.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES：
? Test Equipment Assembly and Setup
o Assemble and install test systems, test rigs, instruments and related equipment according to testing requirements.
o Support setup, commissioning, troubleshooting and improvement of laboratory facilities.
o Ensure all test equipment is properly configured and functions before testing activities begin.
o Support equipment upgrades and laboratory continuous improvement initiatives.
? Testing and Validation
o Conduct thermal performance, validation, reliability and certification-related testing in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
o Execute AHRI certification testing, product performance testing, durability testing and gasket lifecycle validation.
o Monitor testing activities and ensure accuracy and integrity of collected data.
o Identify, investigate and document testing abnormalities and deviations.
? Product Development Support
o Support new product development projects through product validation and performance testing.
o Participate in design verification activities for new plate and gasket developments.
o Support root cause analysis and product performance improvement initiatives.
o Provide technical recommendations based on testing results and engineering findings.
o Support localization and optimization of products for regional market requirements
? Data Collection and Engineer Analysis
o Record testing data and observations accurately and systematically.
o Analyze thermal performance, pressure drop, durability and reliability data.
o Prepare technical reports and engineering conclusions.
o Identify trends, improvement opportunities and potential product risks.
o Present test results and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders.
? Laboratory Operation and 5S Management
o Maintain laboratory organization and workplace standards in accordance with 5S principles.
o Manage laboratory equipment, sensors, tools, spare parts and consumables.
o Ensure laboratory assets are properly identified, maintained and controlled.
o Support equipment calibration and preventive maintenance programs.
o Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and laboratory operating procedures.
o Drive continuous improvement in laboratory efficiency, safety, visual management and housekeeping standards
? Test Method Development
o Assist in development and optimization of laboratory test methods.
o Support establishment of laboratory SOPs and work instructions.
o Promote standardization of testing practices and data collection methods.
o Support implementation of internal, customer-specific and industry testing standards.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES：
? Technical Competencies
o Basic understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
o Ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs and technical specifications.
o Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, sensors and data acquisition systems.
o Strong hands-on capability in equipment assembly, troubleshooting and maintenance.
o Knowledge of heat exchangers, fluid systems or HVAC equipment is advantageous.
? Analytical Competencies
o Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
o Ability to convert test data into engineering conclusions and recommendations.
o Good data analysis capability using Excel and related engineering tools.
o Basic statistical analysis capability is preferred.

o Good written and spoken English skills.
o Ability to communicate effectively with global engineering teams.
o Ability to prepare professional technical reports and presentations.
o Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE：
? Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree or above in:
o Thermal Energy and Power Engineering
o Energy and Power Engineering
o Process Equipment and Control Engineering
o Refrigeration and HVAC Engineering
o Mechanical Engineering
o Fluid Engineering
o Chemical Engineering
Preference will be given to candidates from well-recognized engineering universities with strong academic performance.
? Experience
o Outstanding fresh graduates and early-career engineers are encouraged to apply.
o Candidates with laboratory research experience, engineering project participation, internships or technical competition achievements are preferred.
o Experience in thermal testing, product validation or laboratory operation is an advantage.
o Experience with heat exchangers, HVAC equipment, pumps, valves or fluid systems is preferred.
o Experience supporting new product development projects is preferred.
o Experience working with global engineering teams is preferred.
