The Product Engineer is responsible for evaluating tools and equipment according to UL standards and QE procedures, preparing detailed test reports, and supporting the development of testing requirements, methods, and equipment. This role interacts with multiple internal teams and contributes to ensuring product safety, quality, and performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1.Responsible for tools products evaluation according to UL standard and QE procedures.
2.Conduct the product testing according to the instruction and create the testing report in time.
3.Analyze the defect and potential risk of the products.
4.Maintenance and management of lab tools and equipment
5.Provide technical expertise and interact with various entities (Global Sourcing, SQE, Inspection, etc.) within the organization
6.Assist Product Specialist II and build fixtures
7.Functions test tools and equipment
8.Verifies conformance to industry and regulatory safety standards
9.Works with electronic testing equipment, small motor dynamometer, environmental chambers, hardness tester, and general hand tools
10.Prepares written test reports.
11.Participates in the analytical review of new or revised parts, materials, and products; including Pareto charts and Excel graphs.
12.Independently manage the production evaluation of one product category
13.Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Job Qualifications – Education and Experience
1.Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2.Ability to work under pressure
3.Willing to learn and develop self in testing and certification industry
4.Hands on, able to disassemble, trouble shoot, and assemble various types of products
5.Ability to write testing report in English
6.Experience with test, repairing, or professional trade work with consumer tools and equipment
7.Ability to work in a team setting and have a strong attention to detail
8.Strong PC skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
9.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
10.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
