工作职责：
1. 负责企业级硬盘在系统层面的行为分析、故障诊断、客户集成支持及根因分析，支持产品在中国区客户环境中的顺利导入与认证。
2. 在资深团队成员指导下，支持与中国区云计算客户、OEM/ODM客户及 hyperscale 客户的技术合作，协助解决复杂的系统级问题，并推动相关改进反馈至产品设计与验证环节。
3. 支持硬盘在功能、电性、机械、固件及主机交互等系统层面的故障诊断与问题分析。
4. 通过驱动日志、协议抓取、系统日志、错误特征、性能数据及平台相关行为等信息开展根因分析。
5. 开展规格差异分析、功能验证、互操作性测试以及基于实际工作负载的行为特性分析。
6. 与全球固件、ASIC、Servo、机械、可靠性、制造及质量团队紧密合作，推动纠正措施落实及产品功能优化。
7. 支持客户样品规划、执行跟踪及认证交付，确保项目按计划推进。
8. 在客户环境中验证修复方案及功能改进效果，确保问题得到有效关闭。
9. 支持技术分析报告、失效分析总结及面向内部团队和客户的项目更新材料准备。
10. 参与内部故障排查指南、诊断脚本、测试方法及平台相关实践的开发与完善。
11. 对于 Principal level，需进一步在产品架构层面提供影响力，推动长期诊断策略制定，并主导跨职能技术项目。

职位要求：
1. 电气工程、机械工程、计算机工程、物理学或其他相关专业本科及以上学历，硕士或博士优先。
2. 具备较强的系统级问题定位与分析能力，能够处理涉及固件、机械、电路及主机交互的复杂技术问题。
3. 普通话流利，能够支持中国区客户沟通与技术合作。
4. 具备良好的英文听说读写能力，能够在国际化工作环境中进行有效沟通。
5. 熟悉 HDD 架构者优先，包括 microcode/firmware 层、servo、磁头与盘片交互以及电路/ASIC 行为等。
6. 具备 SAS/SATA 协议分析、信号完整性分析、性能测试、环境应力测试或 HDD 诊断设备使用经验者优先。
7. 具备 Python 或其他脚本语言能力，可用于日志解析、自动化处理或数据分析者优先。
8. 熟悉数据中心存储系统环境者优先。
9. 能够接受中国区出差，并根据业务需要接受少量国际出差。

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for enterprise HDD system behavior analysis, diagnostics, customer integration support, and root cause analysis to support successful product qualification in China customer environments.
2. Take direction from senior team members to support technical engagement with China-based cloud, OEM/ODM, and hyperscale customers, helping resolve complex system-level issues and drive improvements into product design and validation.
3. Support system-level diagnostics for HDD functional, electrical, mechanical, firmware, and host interaction issues.
4. Perform root cause analysis using drive logs, protocol traces, system logs, error signatures, performance data, and platform-dependent behavior.
5. Conduct specification gap analysis, feature validation, interoperability testing, and workload-based behavior characterization.
6. Collaborate with global Firmware, ASIC, Servo, Mechanical, Reliability, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to drive corrective actions and feature improvements.
7. Support customer sample planning, execution, tracking, and qualification deliverables.
8. Validate fixes and enhancements in customer environments and ensure robust closure.
9. Support preparation of technical reports, failure analysis summaries, and update presentations to internal teams and customers.
10. Participate in the development of internal troubleshooting guides, diagnostic scripts, test methodologies, and platform-specific best practices.
11. For Principal level, influence product architecture, drive long-term diagnostic strategy, and lead cross-functional initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or other related fields. Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
2. Strong ability to isolate and analyze complex system-level issues involving firmware, mechanics, electronics, and host interactions.
3. Fluent Mandarin is required to support customer engagement in China.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
5. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
6. Familiarity with HDD architecture, including microcode/firmware layers, servo, head/media interactions, and electrical/ASIC behavior.
7. Experience with SAS/SATA protocol analyzers, signal integrity tools, performance profiling, environmental stress testing, or HDD diagnostic instrumentation.
8. Python or similar scripting skills for log parsing, automation, or analytics.
9. Familiarity with data center storage system environments.
10. Willingness to travel within China and occasionally internationally to support customer engagements and joint investigations.
