PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As the MQA Intern, you will support manufacturing quality activities and continuous improvement at Molex Shanghai, with a structured development plan to grow into a key MQA engineer:
- Support compliance with customer requirements in mass production
- Assist in driving quality improvement with Production and Engineering teams
- Develop capability in problem?solving, data analysis, and process control
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support daily manufacturing quality activities, including issue tracking and data collection
- Assist in root cause analysis using basic tools (5Why, Fishbone) and follow?up corrective actions
- Support containment actions such as sorting, inspection, and shipment control
- Assist in preparation and update of WI, Control Plans, and inspection checklists
- Support AQP team during trial runs, Q?runs, and validation activities
- Participate in internal quality audits and compliance checks
- Support quality improvement projects (yield improvement, defect reduction)
- Work with cross?functional teams to resolve quality issues
- Assist in data analysis and reporting (Excel, basic SPC)
- Support daily IPQC / FQC monitoring activities
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor
SCOPE:
- Support manufacturing quality activities within assigned product lines
- Participating in cross?functional quality improvement tasks
- Gradually build capability to handle quality issues independently
EDUCATION:
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Materials, or related)
- Good English communication skills (reading & writing)
PREFERRED:
- CET?6 or above
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or quality concepts
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- Fresh graduate
PREFERRED:
- Internship experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering
- Exposure to electronics / connector / SMT process is a plus
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:
- Strong willingness to learn and develop in manufacturing quality
- Good logical thinking and problem?solving mindset
- Detail?oriented and responsible
- Good communication and teamwork skills
PREFERRED:
- Familiar with Excel or basic data analysis
- Knowledge of SPC / MSA / FMEA concepts
- Internship experience with quality or manufacturing processes
- Basic knowledge of quality tools is a plus (7QC tools, SPC)
