Product solutions span the entire transaction chain, covering tasks such as automation of daily transaction processing and reconciliation, to strategic functions such as liquidity optimisation and risk management.

What you do

As a Graduate Talent, you will gain exposure to a broad range of Transaction Banking products and develop a strong understanding of both local and international clients’ needs. Through structured rotations across different areas of the Bank, you will learn how product, sales, relationship management, operations, risk and technology work together to deliver solutions for our clients.
The eventual role is in Transaction Banking Product Management, where you will help shape, manage and grow our product capabilities. You will have opportunities to:
- Listen to the voice of our clients, joining Relationship Managers and sales colleagues in selected client engagements to understand their needs, pain points and expectations, and translate these insights into better products and client experiences.
- Keep a close pulse on the market by tracking industry trends, competitor offerings, emerging technologies and evolving client needs, helping the Bank stay competitive and identify opportunities for new product development and innovation.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, Sales, Operations, Technology, Risk and other product teams, to support product development, commercialisation and the delivery of Transaction Banking solutions.
- Monitor product performance using data and management information to understand key drivers, trends, client adoption and areas of opportunity, and translate these insights into actions to improve product competitiveness and business performance.
- Support the product development lifecycle, from identifying market opportunities and defining client propositions through to implementation, launch and ongoing enhancement.
- Drive product commercialisation and adoption by equipping frontline teams with the right product knowledge and working with Relationship Managers to identify opportunities and bring relevant solutions to clients.
- Contribute to innovation and digitalisation, exploring how new technologies and evolving market practices can improve our solutions, client experience and ways of working.
By the end of the programme, you are expected to have developed a strong understanding of OCBC’s Transaction Banking platform, a client-centric and commercial mindset, and the ability to work across functions to manage, grow and continuously improve our products and propositions.
