Danaher Science and Technology (S&T) Office is tasked with fostering long-term expansion of Danaher’s Diagnostics, Life sciences, and Biotechnology platforms through a dual approach of internal and external innovation. The S&T office’s core functions include:
? Setting Danaher’s science and technology strategy.
? Enhancing the company’s portfolio of innovative solutions by pursuing organic growth and strategic alliances across all application domains.
? Establishing Danaher as a leading voice in the healthcare sector, enhancing its academic influence and brand reputation.
? Encouraging the dissemination of innovation best practices and nurturing a culture of innovation within the organization.
The Science and Technology Innovation Intern, Danaher China will be an integral part of the team developing strategic frames and tracking partnership opportunities. This includes supporting team members in conducting technical, product, market, financial and organizational research and analysis as well as in the drafting of strategy presentations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Conduct, analyze and summarize market research
o Identify and obtain relevant sources of market research
o Review, analyze and report the key metrics from that research
o Help spot/identify emerging trends derived from that research
o Synthesis analysis and translate data to insights
? Develop strategic market frames for future investments
o Identify unique partnership opportunities though technology and business assessment and competitive analysis
o Track, scout, evaluate and prioritize partnership opportunities
? Other operational and ad hoc tasks as necessary
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
? Currently pursuing graduate degrees (master or Ph.D.) in life sciences, computer science, artificial intelligence
? Knowledge/experience in artificial intelligence (AI), information technology (IT), digitalization, real world evidence, digital trials, connectivity as applied in the life sciences, healthcare and diagnostic industries
? Experience in primary and secondary market research, market landscaping analysis and competitive analysis
? Experience in conducting expert interviews
? Experience in reviewing scientific publications
? Marketing, biology and/or chemistry coursework desired, experience/lab work in a biology setting desired but not required
? Mature and independent; ability to execute assigned tasks without much supervision; comfortable with ambiguity
